West Lebanon - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth J. White Byers, age 69, who died Sunday, Sept. 5, in the Danville Care Nursing Home, were held Tuesday at the Federated Church in West Lebanon. The Rev. Ellsworth Morack officiated with burial in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The Crowmer-Siddens Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Byers was a life resident of the West Lebanon vicinity. She was in the nursing home three months. She was born July 27, 1896, the daughter of John C. and Nellie Hobart White. Survivors include: her husband, Ernest Byers of West Lebanon; one son John of Williamsport Rt. 2; three sisters, Mrs. Russell Wood of Danville, Ill., Mrs. John Link of Marion and Mrs. Virginia Wyman of Peoria, Ill., and four grandchildren. She was a member of the Marshfield Presbyterian Church, the Hedrick Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and the Daughters of the American Revolution at Covington. --- typed by Barbara B
